Ghanaian music trio Rockcity Bongo has waged war on Ghana’s leading alcoholic beverages firm, Guinness Ghana for ignoring Upper East Artists in the built-up to their Bright House campaign slated for June, 5 at the Bombs events, Bolgatanga.
In an interview on Accra based Peace Fm, the “Akayet” hitmakers stated that other regions within the north are normally overlooked and place much emphasis on Tamale when any issue of Northern Ghana pops up.
They, therefore, called on event organizers, media houses, and corporate bodies to give a fair share of every region within the north to each region as they do for others in the southern sector.
Guinness Ghana after successfully hosting the Bright House campaign in several regions in Ghana have settled on Upper East as the next host and the flyer for the upcoming program has sparked anger within the region with many calling for the boycott of the program.
