Nigerian musical sensation, Michael Adebayo Olayinka, known by his stage name, Ruger has taken to social to fume over the recent reign of terror that has taken over the peace, security, and stability of the Nigerian people.
According to the singer, it is time the citizens forget about Nigerian politicians who only care about getting into power and amassing wealth for themselves and their families while the masses suffer and bear the consequences of their actions.
In a tweet sighted on his official account, the singer opined that maybe it is time Nigerians take their own security into their own hands as the authorities responsible for their safety have proved not to be effective.
“Maybe we should get guns instead of this fucking PVC. To hell with his country.”
In the aftermath of the dreadful incident, the governor of the state, Rotimi Akeredolu has ordered that all flags in the state be flown at half-mast for seven days in honor of the victims who lost their lives and that of loved ones.
