The movie Industry in general have been crawling for years now. We have seen both popular actors and producers lamenting over the poor purchase of the movies and producers not paying well respectively. It looks like the Northern part Of Ghana is experiencing the worst of all as one of the Legend and most famous actor cried out publicly.
The northern region is a place filled with lots of culture and young talents in the creative industry (Film industry). A lot of talents here have been falling out of the scene due to poor marketing strategy and also pirating.
Pirating is one of the major illegal activities that kills the creative industry. With all the hard works and creativity Exhibits in a movie which will be put to the market for sale will just go waste due to this illegal activity called pirating.
Iddrisu Abubakari Anokye, popularly known in the movie industry as Zimboo De Don, on a circulatory video on social media, cautioned the general public to do away with pirating, because it’s killing their movie industry.
On the video, Zimboo De Don is caught pleading and cautioning the general public to diseases from such illegal act that is hindering their prosperity in the showbiz Industry.
According to Zimboo, they have been battling with a whole lot of setbacks just to get to the international market with all their creativity and the little funds at hand, and all these are being kept in vain through this illegal act called pirating.
The Legend said “we are pleading with you guys to put a stop to pirating our movies , we have been suffering a lot but nothing is coming out , so please stop that and support our hustle (film making) so that together we can put Northern Movie on the map”.
