Haruna Abdul-Rahaman Suhuyini, who is popularly known as Baron De Jarule has descended heavily on Ataaka for his decision to pulled down his 2022 Review song on all streaming sites.
The Rap John Cena, Ataaka released his Annual review song which usually contains a quick recap of both good and bad happenings in the entertainment fraternity in the previous year under review.
After dropping the 2022 edition of the review on January 19th, 2023, many including Mr. Tell and one Mma Suraiya who’s issues were touched didn’t take it slightly with him.
Especially, Mma Suraiya, she was accused of witchcraft in 2022, and Ataaka touched on the issue in the song, leading her to dragged Ataaka for that. She even went forward to attacked the rapper with a geng of men with guns. This forced the rapper to pulled down the song and about to remake a remix of it to clear the woman’s name.
Many industry players described Ataaka’s decision as unprofessional and immaturity, and according to Baron De Jarule on Radio Tamale over the weekend, the rapper’s decision has simply made him a coward.
Baron De Jarule thinks it’s totally wrong for Ataaka to have taken down the song regardless of whatever attack or pressure he was under. According to him, Ataaka did nothing wrong in telling people what happened within the year, he only reminded the people what they knew already because, videos and pictures or stories of that incident circulated on the internet when it happened, so one putting it on a song is not informative but rather reminding people of what they know already.
Jarule explained further that, Ataaka’s decision will go a long way to affect his career especially the annual review song because, he thinks he can’t talk about people issues again because if he does, they will also caution him for doing so, and once he’s sentimental on this, the higher rate of the dead of the review because it won’t sound okay to mention other people’s issues without others names mentioned. Baron De Jarule advised Ataaka to quit doing the review. Watch below.
