Social media sensation and self-acclaimed Young Rich Nigga, Shatta Bandle, has made a shocking revelation on the HYPE TV PODCAST with host Is Hassan Dablee. According to the pint-sized influencer, he once rejected a very lucrative offer from Nigerian superstar Davido because the demand was demeaning and didn’t align with the image he’s built over the years.
Shatta Bandle, while listing some of the music giants he has worked with—including Rudeboy of PSquare—mentioned Davido as one of those who reached out to him. However, he disclosed that their deal didn’t materialize due to a request he considered disrespectful.
“Davido was coming to Ghana for a program, and he wanted me to go to the airport to welcome him,” Bandle narrated. “But that wasn’t all—he wanted me to bow down before him as a sign of greeting so they could capture that moment on video and share it online.”
Despite being promised a huge amount of money—whatever figure he would name—Shatta Bandle said he walked away from the deal to protect his personal brand. “I told him no! I’m Shatta Bandle, not anybody’s small boy. I have a brand to protect, and such a video could ruin my image long-term,” he explained.
He humorously added that he even told Davido he would rather pay him and sign him to cover up the disappointment, staying consistent with his ever-bold billionaire character. Watch The Interview Below,
