Don Rhymer, a rapper from Northern region has disclosed the benefits he has achieved through Reality shows and competitions.
Don Ryhmer has been one of the artiste especially from the Northern region, who has been to most of the famous reality TV shows and competitions in the country. He has been to the ‘Rap City Show’ on North Star FM, Sagani TV Chop Da Mic reality show and the TV3 Mentor in 2021.
Don Ryhmer made it to the finals of the Northern based competitions, yet fails to win the ultimate, whereas he was evicted on the last eviction day to the finals of the TV3 Mentor.
In a disclosure on why he keeps giving reality shows the try despite all these years of heartbreaks, Don Ryhmer said these are platforms through which he built much social media followers, adding that, anytime he performed and go back stage and logged onto his social media handles, his followers shoots up.
Adding to these reason, he said to realized such programmes give him publicity both on social media and personal.
‘According to him, he got to know much prominent people through that, mentioning the like of shatta wale and other entertainment related and unrelated people down south.
Don Rhymer explains further that, his name get mentions by unknown people in any part of the country he goes to now, due to the result of TV3 mentor.
Including to the aforementioned benefits, the rapper narrated how a lady who is a senior arm forces official at one airport helped him.
Don Ryhmer narrated that after the TV3 mentor when he was about to fly back to Tamale, “He went to the airport, suddenly a female army officer mentioned his name and he was surprised. The lady told him he is his favorites singer in the competition. They were both excited and had good conversation.
Then, the army lady order her junior arm forces to take his bags and head him straight to the to checkout point to verify his flight ticket which avoided him from joining a long queue.
“So you see? I have a different intensions and targets in doing this. My priority for taking part in big music competitions is not to come out being overall winner but for other reasons that can open doors for me”. He concluded in an interview with NYab Issah Bandambiyo on the Sankara Yellow Yellow Drive Show.
