As part of his promotional tour ahead of the much-anticipated ‘MMA Movie Challenge’ premiere, celebrated Northern actor Aborimaham Basiru made inspiring visits to two private basic schools in Yendi — Vision Star Academy and Vision Star School.

In his interactions with the pupils, Aborimaham didn’t just wave to cheers or pose for photos — he delivered a heartfelt message. He encouraged the young ones to take their books seriously and stay away from watching adult TV programs. Speaking from experience, the actor revealed that his lack of formal education continues to haunt him despite his fame.

Even though I’m a celebrity, my lack of education has affected me a lot. I wouldn’t have still be here if I had at least gone through Junior High School,” he told the students, adding that education is important in every profession, including acting and farming.

The schools were filled with excitement as pupils chanted his name and gleefully responded to questions about why they admire the actor. The moment was both entertaining and enlightening — a rare mix of celebrity charm and real-life wisdom that left a lasting impact on the children.
