The much-talked-about concert date clash between Northern music heavyweights Fancy Gadam and Striker De Donzy has taken a new turn. Initially scheduled for 9th November at the Bukom Arena in Accra, Fancy Gadam’s concert was set to compete directly with Striker De Donzy’s show, planned for 16th November. This sparked widespread speculation and heated discussions within the music community, with many accusing Fancy Gadam of attempting to sabotage De Donzy’s success.
However, in a recent interview on Majority Radio with G. Face, Fancy Gadam announced a significant change of plans. Responding to the public outcry and the need to maintain harmony within the industry, he has decided to shift his concert date to 26th October. He emphasized that his decision was made in good faith, aiming to clear any misconceptions that he might be sabotaging his fellow artist’s success.
This move by Fancy Gadam is expected to ease tensions and allow both artists to shine on their respective dates without any perceived rivalry. Fans from both camps are now looking forward to enjoying two separate events, showcasing the best of Northern Ghanaian music talent in the nation’s capital.
