Labando Yakubu has received his maiden national team invitation as coach Karim Zito handed him a call up into the provisional squad of the Ghana U-20 national team, the Black Satellites. He was one of the best strikers for Gbewaa Fc in the Zone One of the truncated Ghana Division One League.
The lanky and pacy player is a supporting striker for Yendi Gbewaa fc and goal scoring is his hallmark. The young chap also makes it easier for other players to score goals. . He has established him himself as one of the best strikers in the Ghana division league since his debut in 2018. Notable among his prowess is the sensational form he had during the Normalization committee tournament and the just truncated league.
Gbewaa Fc performed very well in the Normalization Committee’s league and in the truncated Ghana Division One League as a result of the scintillating performance of this hard working young player.
Labando, popularly known as ‘Computer’ is expected to prove his worth to the Technical handlers of the Black Satellites in order to earn a place in the final squad.
