Ghanaian rapper, Joseph Gamor famed in showbiz as Lyrical Joe has revealed how he felt ahead of the recently held Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
The talented rapper won the Best Rap Performance award at the event which was held on May 7 and in a recent interview, he spoke about how he felt ahead of the awards.
He had the interview on the popular Ghanaian radio station, Hitz FM with Andy Dosty and in his submission, he said;
“After losing out on 3 Music Awards, I had the perception that anything can happen ahead of VGMA. My “Letter to 3 Music Awards” wasn’t a diss to Amerado. I personally congratulated him after he won.
If Amerado had responded, the actual content of the track would determine what would happen next. I am not the type to walk out of the auditorium after losing out on awards.
I go all out when it comes to diss tracks. People think I didn’t deserve to win Best Rap Performance. Yes, I also thought I deserved to win when I lost.
I am not scared of any rapper in Ghana. No rapper will tell you who they are afraid of.
