Rapper Sherif Abdul-Majeed, who is popularly known as Maccasio, has finally expressed his disappointment in Fancy Gadam and his Team idea to ride a horse to the stadium on the occasion of his 10th anniversary.
Fancy Gadam and the Gadam Nation celebrated the star’s 10 years of consistent dominance as a star in the music industry on the 22nd of October at Tamale’s Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.
Tens of thousands of people attended the event to see the star perform, while other top Ghanaian music gurus such as FBS, Hajia 4Real, Fad Lan, Wiz Child, and others thrilled fans with spectacular performances.
Fancy Gadam was called on stage, and the whole stadium started chanting his name as they waited to see how he would enter the stadium. The star made a grand entrance by riding into the stadium on a horse.
As a great and special day like this, and for an art rival who started this far in 2016, Maccasio felt that idea wasn’t so on point, as he thinks Fancy Gadam and his team could have created a more attractive entrance.
According to him, despite doing it in 2016, artists in Gushegu, Walewale, and others who look up to him and Fancy Gadam now appear on stages with horses; it is therefore not so creative for an artist of his kind to do the same, especially on a great day like the 22nd.
“In fact, I was very disappointed when I saw his entrance.” Underground artists in Gushegu and Walewale are now entering shows with horses, “so a more creative and new entrance would have spoken well of him,” he said.
Maccasio made these comments in a one-on-one interview with Mr. Tell on Radio Tamale ahead of his Glory album launch, which is slated for November 12th at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium. Watch video below,
