Mohammed Mutala, popularly known as Dagbon Saani has opened up on how pressure Lead him into substance abuse.
Dagbon Saani for about a decade now was recognized as one of the promising artiste from the North onto which many were having so much hopes on to lift the flag of the Northern music industry internationally.
The star was about doing just that when he was signed onto ‘Half A Loaf’ record label that took him out of Tamale to Accra to produced good and quality music including ‘Time, Holding On‘ and many others that were hit down North and in Accra.
After the star parted ways with the label, things began to be tougher for him and he had no option than to returned back to Tamale to begin all over again.
In an interview with Saani yesterday on Dinchana on NTV with G. Face, Dagbon Saani narrated that it was through these challenges that lead him into substance abuse.
According to him, many who could support him musically as at the time feared how far he has already gone and ran away from him because they thought he was going to be expensive to be managed.
The Reality hit maker added that, he faced a whole lot of pressure in his life at the time, which pushed him into drugs and smoking just so he will desist from thinking. Watch a short part of the interview below.
