Sulemana Majidatu, popularly known as Queen Jidah who recently was crowned the winner of Queen Of The North at the Just ended Northern Ghana Entertainent Awards has announced intentions to kick start a campaign dubbed #MasksforRuralWomen.
The Queen of the North has on the 8th August 2020, at the Radarch Lodge And Conference center with the organizers of the NEA Launched Queen Of The North 2021 and the campaign to provide face masks to women in rural areas to help eradicate the deadly Covid-19 virus.
This going to be the Queen’s first major project after her crowned, her main aim for this event as disclosed by her is to embark on the campaign to educate, inform, transform and also to provide face masks to women in rural areas.
Queen Jidah used the opportunity to plead to the General public, corporate bodies, religious leaders, politicians, philanthropists and traditional leaders to help in cash or in kind in order to realize this campaign (#FaceMasksForRuralWomen)
The Queen and the organizers also urged the general public to adhere to the safety protocols provided by the Ministry Of Health And Ghana Health Service so that together we can conquer the novel Covid-19 virus.
