The T-Bikers Club is set to organize a groundbreaking event aimed at fostering peace and unity in the Northern Region. Dubbed the Peace Ride, the event is scheduled for December 1, 2024, starting at the Tamale Jubilee Park at 9 AM. This initiative, according to organizers in an interview on HYPE TV, seeks to promote peace during and after the upcoming elections while redefining societal perceptions about biking.
During the interview, the club president revealed that the event also seeks to change the narrative surrounding biking, highlighting it as a profession driven by passion and not merely an activity for the so-called “invulnerable” in society. “Biking is more than a thrill; it’s an art, a career, and a symbol of unity,” the president emphasized. He further disclosed that the club has taken proactive measures by informing prominent chiefs in Tamale and securing police cooperation to ensure the smooth execution of the event.
