Upper East-based rap artist, Martin Soore, known in showbiz as Soorebia has reacted to the recent norm in measuring the fate of musicians in northern Ghana that got to with filling stadia.
Making his debut appearance on tv3’s showbiz 360 with Giovani Caleb, the fra pop championer blames the inability of musicians from another part of northern Ghana to break through the southern sector on the Tamale industry since they are always regarded whenever north is mentioned.
“I think we need support here but most of it is with the Tamale industry, people only know Tamale as north and now our people determine the success of a musician on the number of people he pulls to the stadium,” he said.
Soorebia who is on a media tour promoting his ‘bags of rocks’ Ep called for a collective effort to sell the numerous talents we have in the north and not limit it to Tamale or the number of stadia filled.
