Debby Hwot, a Northern Ghanaian female artiste has rated TikTok as the best and the most reliable music promotion platform over radio and TV.
To Debby Hwot, TikTok gives artiste the opportunity to promote and at the same time make money out of their music if they are verified on the platform, unlike Radio and TV which only plays your music and it ends there after all.
Also, Debby Hwot added that people have access to TikTok everywhere they go so far as they have the mobile app with them in their phone, and many including people one hardly meet in life gets to jam to your music through TikTok, but Radio and TV in her view is limited to people at their work places or homes.
“To me, I think I will rate TikTok as the number one promotion platform. Even though we have Radio and TV, but Northern Region for instance, the moment you go out of the TV station or Radio, then that’s all, but on TikTok the video still remains for people to stream” Debby Hwot said.
Debby Hwot disclosed this in a one one interview with Is Hassan Dablee on HYPE TV in a discussion ahead of the December TikTokers Tour which is slated for the 22nd December. Watch her conversation below.
