Vision Star Academy, a reliable foundation building school, hosted a highly successful event themed “Child Court & A Dramatic Presentation On How Sayidina Umar Accepted Islam” at its campus in Gagbani, behind the R/C Primary School in Yendi. The event, which began and ended with prayers, drew key dignitaries and stakeholders like Yani Gunu, Gamanzhe Yapalsi NAA, Chief Boaro, Gagbendana among others, all from within and outside the Eastern Corridor.

The highlight of the day was the series of excellent drama performances by students, who creatively re-enacted key moments from Ghana’s Constitution, the judicial process of court crimes, the role of cadets in Ghana, and a powerful Islamic-themed play on how Sayidina Umar (RA) accepted Islam. The audience, which included parents and special guests, were visibly impressed with the confidence, knowledge, and talent displayed by the young learners.

Parents expressed immense joy and gratitude to the teachers for instilling discipline and impactful knowledge in their children. One of the key speakers, NYab’ Yani Gunu, a respected community chief, praised the staff of Vision Star Academy for their dedication and patience. He encouraged parents not to leave the full responsibility of raising their children to teachers alone but to play active roles at home, especially by ensuring they pick up their wards on time at closing hours, citing instances where teachers were left with students late into the day due to delayed pickups.

Mr. Awal, the Executive Director of Vision Star Academy, in his remarks, thanked all parents for their unwavering trust in the school and commended his hardworking staff for their excellence and commitment.

He noted that such programs are part of the school’s broader mission to nurture well-rounded students who understand society, religion, and leadership. The event ended on a high note, leaving lasting smiles on the faces of students, parents, and dignitaries alike.
