Ahmed Shaban, one of the most controversial but talented rappers from the North has accused the media of championing the campaign for his downfall when he rose to stardom.
Many will recall that even before Maccasio, Ataaka, Fad Lan, Dobble Tee and many other famous rappers from the North today, there was Shaban who was the most famous rapper from 2012 to 2013 and was very much loved by the fan base. Shaban was everyone’s favorite rapper and every song he dropped at the time was a hit. He dropped so many songs including Gbagba, Village Girl, Fire etc. All of a sudden, the rapper was missing in the scene to only God could tell why.
Speaking on the caused of his downfall in an interview with Kawastone on Zaa TV, Shaban said the media fought him hard which caused his downfall.
According to him, the media tagged him as a disrespectful artiste and they convinced the masses to believing in whatever they were saying because they had opportunities on radio everyday.
Shaban commends that, then, it was only DJ Parara who was of a little support to him, but at a point, he also stopped without a reason. Watch below his accusation.
