Agyemang Victor, famed Versatile Mc Opambour, from Japekrom in the Jaman South Municipal, a registered nurse who also works as a philanthropist, event planner, and host of the mid-morning show on Adikanfo FM base in Jinijini in Berekum under the International Youth Network for UN Security Council Resolution was sworn in as the YOUTH MP FOR JAMAN SOUTH MUNICIPAL on May 1, 2023, at the Accra Conference Center.
Agyemang Victor was selected as the winner of a contest alongside three other participants following a series of interviews.
However, the goal of Ghana’s National Youth Parliament is to give young people a single organized organization at the local, regional, and national levels where they may express their concerns, discuss issues crucial to their development, and hold duty bearers responsible. Its purpose is to give young people a forum to take action by creating an accountable, transparent, and fair society.
According to Mc Versatile, he will plan events celebrations and Entertainment shows to ensure tranquillity and security in Jaman South.
He emphatically stated that he will also organise discussions and seminars for SHS students and young people in the community to help sharpen their brains.
“I will collaborate with the JAMAN COMMUNAL LABOR to supply school supplies including textbooks and exercise books to get school-age youngsters off the streets”, he stated.
He concluded by promising to work closely with government representatives to make sure that the youth of JAMAN do not miss out on the national cake.
