In his address to the team, Alhaji Baba Osman Daney, who is noted for his immense support for football development especially in Northern Ghana, congratulated the players, technical team and management for making the Northern Region proud. He described their victory as a victory for the entire North and a testament that with proper preparation, Northern women’s clubs can compete and win at the highest level.
In a massive show of support, Alhaji Baba Daney pledged GHS 20,000 to support the club’s preparations for the upcoming Gold Fields Women’s Premier League season. He also instantly presented GHS 5,000 cash to the team to cover fuel for their return journey from Accra to Tamale.

They noted that the pledge will go a long way to aid the club’s campaign in the coming season, and as well promised another fascinating performance in the fast approaching season if the region rally behind them.
