Northern Ghanaian Poet, Gifted Tima has fulfilled her promise by donating an undisclosed amount to Zaa Multimedia in support of the ongoing fundraising campaign for the construction of the new Gbewaa Palace.

The singer was among the performers who graced the launch of the initiative, where she used her performance to encourage patrons and members of the public to contribute towards the project. During the event, she publicly pledged to make a personal contribution in support of the campaign.

True to her word, Gifted Tima has now redeemed that pledge, demonstrating her commitment to preserving the cultural heritage of Dagbon and supporting efforts to build a befitting palace for the Kingdom.

Explaining her motivation, the Poet shared a message emphasizing the importance of protecting the identity and traditions of the people.

“Our culture and our heritage are the lifelines of our identity. If we want a modern, befitting palace that commands respect globally, we must build it together. I am calling on my fellow creatives, entertainers, and industry stakeholders to step up, donate, and use their platforms to push this initiative forward. Let’s restore our roots,” she wrote.

Her donation adds to the growing list of contributions from individuals and organizations supporting the campaign spearheaded by Zaa Multimedia. The initiative seeks to mobilize resources from sons and daughters of Dagbon, corporate institutions, and well-wishers to construct a new Gbewaa Palace that reflects the Kingdom’s rich history, unity, and pride.

Organizers have continued to encourage the public to support the noble cause, stressing that every contribution, regardless of its size, brings the vision of a new Gbewaa Palace closer to reality.
