The Upper East entertainment space has a new festival and it is called Samufest. As the name goes, it is a festival that is organized by Savannah records with sponsorship from .

It was a day long event that took place at the Navrongo Main Lorry station, and it was refreshing to see the entertainment being taken out of the already perceived choked Bolgatanga municipality.

It was a night that gathered music enthusiast within and outside upper east to celebrate the many young talented individuals within the Region.

As a night of celebration especially the Christendom, that were celebrating the resurrection of Jesus, the first thing that caught my eye was the stage – it was huge! That was when I realized I was ready to jam. Despite getting there around 6, the organizers were still having their sound checks, so I decided to take a tour at the market area, as a first time visitor of the Navrongo municipality.

After a couple of hours of eating, and chit-chatting, the band began to play, followed by performance from the some of the young acts in the region.

After a series of performances from some of the top acts in the region, I could feel the crowd was not satisfied with the performance until I heard the Mc mentioned Kilmore and the whole venue went gaga as they anticipated the afrobeat champion.

He rocks fans with back to back afrobeat Alapta wan popped from nowhere and they both delivered to their best to the admiration of everyone.

In all, it was a night to remember in the history of Upper East Music and patrons called for it return next year
