In a recent interview with Kawastone on Zaa Kootu, Adam Mustapha, a well-known media personality in the north, revealed that DJ Carlos was the very first person who offered him his biggest and first opportunity to speak on the air.
Afa Staff, as he’s known, revealed that he worked and starved for two years without getting the chance to speak on air or even greet someone in answer to some of the hardships he had while growing up to become one of the top northern-based presenters.
According to him, he once called DJ Carlos and the presenter quickly called him to meet him at his work at Filla Fm and when he went there, the presenter gave him an opportunity to talk on the air.
