Afa Staff, a top-tier media personality in Tamale and the north, has shared his thoughts on Radio in Tamale’s problems in the northern part of Ghana for over a decade.
In recent years, the media and radio have been heavily criticized for a variety of issues, including unpaid workers, station debts, and station closures within a few years.

In an interview with Kawastone on Zaa Kootu, Afa staff said cheap labor is a key problem because managers feel they have lots of opportunities to just replace workers without qualifications or experience.

He also mentioned that the overwhelming desire of presenters, particularly the up-and-coming ones, is a factor.
