In a remarkable display of culinary talent and support, renowned musicians, Fancy Gadam, teamed up with celebrated chef, Faila, to break the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon. This dazzling event took place yesterday at the modern city hotel, Tamale, where thousands gathered to witness the incredible feat.
Chef Faila, known for her exceptional cooking skills and innovative recipes, began this adventure on January 1 and is expected to end on January 5. With a goal to showcase her passion for cooking and make a positive impact on society, Faila aims to tirelessly cook for a continuous over 144, demonstrating her unwavering dedication to her craft and the cause.
But the event was not solely focused on Chef Faila’s cooking marathon last night as Fancy Gadam, one of the most influential names in the music industry, stepped in to entertain supporters who have been supporting Faila at the venue since she began on his return to Tamale from Wa.
He performed most of his hit singles which included if, yakachana and others.
