In the true spirit of Ramadan and in adherence to the Islamic teachings of compassion, charity, and care for the vulnerable, the Hablul-Laahi Alumni Network has extended a generous hand of support to the Tamale Children’s Home as part of its Ramadan Outreach – Support the Orphan Initiative 2026.

The outreach, which took place yesterday at the Home’s premises in Nyohini, saw members of the alumni network present assorted food items, toiletries, and bottled water to the management and children of the facility. The donation is aimed at easing the burden on the Home and ensuring that the children experience comfort and joy during this blessed month of Ramadan.

Ramadan is not only a period of fasting and spiritual reflection but also a time that emphasizes generosity, empathy, and communal responsibility. Caring for orphans holds a special place in Islam, with numerous teachings highlighting the immense reward attached to supporting and protecting them. The gesture by the Hablul-Laahi Alumni Network reflects these noble values and demonstrates a practical commitment to uplifting the less privileged in society.

Speaking during the presentation, Sheikh Abdul Aziz, Son of the founder of Hablullah Institute and representative of the Network reiterated that the initiative forms part of their annual Ramadan activities, focused on giving back to the community and strengthening the bonds of brotherhood and social responsibility. They encouraged others to emulate such acts of kindness, especially during Ramadan when rewards for good deeds are multiplied.
