At least one man has been arrested by the youth of Jisonaayili in connection with the alleged attempted murder of the chief of the area earlier today at about 9:30am in the northern regional capital, Tamale.
According to reports picked on the ground, the man (arrested) stormed the palace of the chief together with two others and attempted to murder the chief forcing him to exchange blows as a means to protect himself.

The report further noted that it took the intervention of a nearby man who head the struggle of the chief for his life together with others to come to the rescue of him.
The report indicated the two others had to run for their lives leaving the leader who engaged in an exchange of blows with the area and his subsequent arrest and now facing charges at the Nyab Gukpenaa’s palace. Watch the video below
