The Northern Drama & Film Makers Association (Nordrafim) has today, 13th May, 2023 swore in their Newly appointed president, Afa Saani Minister and his executives.
Their swearing in came after the outgoing President, Mr. Jalil has elapsed his two terms aS the president of Nordrafim.
Before their swearing in, an election was supposed to be held as stated by the constitution of Nordrafim, but this never came because, the President went unopposed.
Nordrafim charged the newly sworn in President and his executives to be diligent in the discharge of their duties as their decisions are going to be scrutinized now than ever before.
The newly executives were,
Afa Saani Minister – As President.
Abu Saeed – As Vice President.
Salman – As P.R.O.
Sherifatu Issah – As Women Organizer.
And many other members are Secretary, Treasurers among others.
Speaking after being sworn in, Afa Saani Minister said they are ready to deliver and contribute to Nordrafim democracy.
“This is not an appointment one will take lightly; for it has got me happy and at the same time scared for the huge task imbedded on my head as a president of this vulnerable association. I want to say, I’m very grateful and happy for their trust, and assure them of a great difference of Hard-work in making sure that, my time to rule will stand out to be the ever ever in the history of Nordrafim presidency” Afa Saani Minister said.
