In a colorful and culturally rich event held at the forecourt of the Sagnarigu Chief Palace on Thursday, July 17, 2025, the Northern Region’s pride, Tasalla (Adata Issah), was honored in grand style as part of activities for her participation in this year’s Ghana’s Most Beautiful (GMB) reality pageant.
Powered by Carlos Entertainment, one of Northern Ghana’s foremost event organizers, the durbar drew an impressive gathering of traditional authorities, media figures, creatives, and cultural enthusiasts. The occasion was graced by a special appearance from His Royal Highness, Naa Abdulai Yakubu (Sagnarigu-Naa), who commended Tasalla’s courage, cultural depth, and intelligence, calling on all citizens of the North, both home and abroad, to rally behind her in the ongoing competition.
The night was further lit by stellar performances from celebrated Northern music icons Don Sigli and DL, who left the audience thrilled with electrifying renditions of their popular songs. Also present were key media stakeholders and entertainment chiefs across the Tamale Metropolis, reinforcing the strong community support behind Tasalla’s GMB 2025 journey.
The event not only celebrated the contestant’s elegance and eloquence but also re-emphasized the importance of cultural representation on national platforms. Tasalla’s campaign is fast gaining momentum as she continues to impress audiences nationwide with her poise, purpose, and deep cultural values.
