Northern Ghana’s only proud female musician, Reka J is giving the Northern female aspect of the industry a leg of encouragement in competing with the men after she received 3 nominations at the 2020 edition of the North East Music Awards (NEMA).
The female aspect of the Northern Music Industry is very low key, leading to so many mindsets from key industry players including Ojah Drumz, Ras Nindoo etc that it’s as a results of over demand of sex from these females that is causing them.
Well, Reka J has been one talented singer, writer and a performer who has proven that it’s all about talent and hard work.
In less than a year in the industry, she has 2 hit singles as anthems and these has gotten her the nominations.
Reka J Mash Up competes others for the Popular song category and ‘Over You” grabbed Female Vocalist and Music Video” categories respectively.
