Renowned upper east based artist manager and CEO of Down Town records Roy Lambert Fatawu has urged One Love Entertainment, organizers of happy man bitter upper east music awards to appreciate the works of talents and not relegated the scheme to what they will benefit at the end.
According to him, most artists offered nominations at this year’s edition of the scheme are not qualified and don’t deserve that slot as he termed it as a ‘disrespect to the hardworking ones’.
For him, the scheme has come far and he expects them to learn and perfect their stuff as they set out to honor and reward hard work, quality, and vibrancy.
In a post on his Facebook wall, he encouraged the organizers to work towards redeeming the image of the upper east entertainment industry rather than looking for the least opportunity as a source of income.
Roy Lambert has been an instrumental figure in the upper east entertainment industry working with several acts and winning the music video of the year with cypid ‘Shock3’ at the last year’s edition of UEMA.
