One of North’s iconic superstar, Fancy Gadam has recalled his most saddest encounter he had with his parents just because of his desire to do music.
Born Ahmed Mujahid Bello into one of the very famous Islamic family in the North, Fancy Gadam desire to do music was a storm in the family of his late father and his beloved living mother. The musician had many challenges with his parents due to his love for music.
In recalling the most unforgettable feud he had with his parents because of his choice to do music, Fancy Gadam narrated to Is Hassan Dablee on HYPE TV that, one day his father was sending him to school, and on their way to the school, they had an accident with their motorbike, and when they got back home that day, his father sent him direct to his mother and handed him over to him with his last warning to him and his mother about his (Fancy Gadam) desire to do music. He said to his mother,
“You can see I have many wife’s with many children, Mujahid (Fancy Gadam) is your son and I have done everything I could to make him useful yet he’s not, if he grows up well, it’s your business and if he doesn’t, it’s your business again because you’re the mother, and I can’t sacrifice all I have as a father of many just for one child alone“.
The star said this was hard times for his mother and she cried for days without stopping. She had to start praying harder and chasing him everywhere he goes to make sure he do not get the chance to do music again. Watch him explain below.
