Ato Bronk Taylor, the suspect in the murder case of the Level 300 Student of the Cape Coast Technical University, has been remanded again into Police custody to reappear on the 21 of June, 2022.

Presenting the facts of fresh evidence in the case, the Chief Prosecutor, Daniel Mensah Gadzo prayed the Court to allow the Police to do further investigations and also wait for the forensic report on the deceased.

DSP Gadzo noted that during investigations, it was observed that, the suspect, Ato Taylor who is the deceased’s Boyfriend had rented a hostel for her and on the 12 of May, 2022, the suspect picked the lady in his official pickup with registration number GE 7147 – 22 around 11:29 p.m.

According to the Police, the lady did not return that night and on the following day May 13th, 2022, the deceased was found dead with her private part removed near OLA College of Education, Cape Coast.

The Court presided over by her Ladyship Bernice Mensimah Ackon granted the request of the Police pending further investigations.
