Northern based Ghanaian blogger, Mo’ Torfek has raised concerns about the state of blogging in Tamale, stating that rivalry among bloggers is taking precedence over growth and professional development. Speaking on the All Inclusive Show with Is Hassan Dablee on Zaa Radio, he lamented that many bloggers are more focused on competing for dominance rather than improving their craft.

“Everyone seems to be in their corner, claiming to be big. But the truth is, those who are genuinely big and profiting significantly from blogging are not even loud,” Mo’ Torfek remarked.

He called for unity and a shift in focus toward elevating the standards of blogging in the region, emphasizing the need for collaboration and professionalism to ensure collective success. His statement has sparked conversations about the direction of the blogging industry in Tamale and the role of bloggers in promoting development.
