CEO of Bestmen Productions and former manager of Sapashini, BM Major has shared his view on ‘Artiste Management’ in the North. Speaking on the ‘All Inclusive Show’ on Zaa Radio 99.3FM with Is Hassan Dablee, he said,

Even though I’m the CEO and Managing Director of Bestmen Productions, I strongly believe that we don’t have a single standard artiste manager in the whole of the five regions of the North.

To me, artiste management is a full-time profession that requires a lot of strategic skills, connections, influence, and above all, time and money. But how many of our self-acclaimed artiste managers are influential enough to project a talent outside of the region?

So, as much as we know our artistes are mostly ungrateful and tend to dump their managers for others, especially when they are financially unstable, I also believe we as ‘managers’ still need to wake up and learn a lot about artiste management”.
