In a remarkable act of compassion and social responsibility, popular Northern entertainer, Zaachi has donated assorted drinks to inmates of the Tamale Central Prison as part of his ongoing humanitarian and community support initiatives.
The donation, which was made with support from Twillium Industrial Company Limited – Tamale, aimed to put smiles on the faces of inmates and remind them that society still cares about their welfare and reintegration.
Addressing the inmates during the visit, Zaachi shared words of encouragement and personal reflection. He urged them not to lose hope, stressing that life after prison can still be purposeful and impactful. Drawing from his own experience, he revealed that he was once on remand in the same facility, and that experience shaped his resolve to live a positive and meaningful life after his release.
“I’ve been where you are today, but I didn’t let that define me. Instead, I used it as motivation to change my story. You can do the same. There’s life, hope, and purpose beyond these walls,” Zaachi told the inmates.
Officials of the Tamale Central Prison commended Zaachi and Twillium Industrial Company Limited for their thoughtful gesture, describing it as an inspiration to both the inmates and the general public.
Zaachi’s initiative forms part of his broader philanthropic journey, through which he continues to support underprivileged communities and inspire positive change across Northern Ghana.
