Host of Majority Trenders Ryde on Majority Radio, Mohammed Hafiz G. Face, has descended heavily on Radio Tamale’s manager, Robicon, over his recent controversial comments about Maccasio. Robicon, speaking on the Gbewaa Enter10ment Chat Show, had claimed that Maccasio is “not bigger than TV3 Mentor” and could still contest in the reality show.

Robicon Statement

But G. Face, reacting on his show, dismissed the statement as both ignorant and insulting, describing it as a disgrace to Robicon himself as a manager. According to G. Face, such remarks expose Robicon’s lack of deep understanding about the entertainment industry. “That statement is an insult to himself as a manager. Robicon doesn’t know anything much about the industry,” he blasted.

He further defended Maccasio by pointing to the massive numbers the rapper consistently draws at concerts, not only in Tamale but also in Accra. G. Face argued that only a few mainstream artists in the capital can pull the same size of crowds. “The crowds Maccasio keeps drawing in Tamale and Accra can only be done by just a few in Accra. So does that mean those who cannot do it in Accra should also go to TV3 Mentor?” he questioned sharply.

G. Face Fires Robicon

G. Face’s fiery response has added more fuel to the heated entertainment debate, turning the spotlight back on Robicon’s credibility and judgment as a music manager. The battle of words is fast becoming one of the most controversial clashes in recent Northern Ghana showbiz discussions.
