G. Unit, a Northern Ghana-based entertainment promotion organization, has donated ₵2,000 to support Zaa Multimedia’s fundraising campaign for the construction of the new Gbewaa Palace.
The contribution was made as part of the group’s commitment to preserving the cultural heritage of Dagbon and supporting initiatives that promote unity and development within the Kingdom.
The donation was received by Is Hassan Dablee, a staff member of Zaa Multimedia, who, together with the President of G. Unit, Alhaji Issaka Ayana, formally presented the amount to the management of Zaa Multimedia at the station’s premises.
The presentation forms part of the ongoing fundraising campaign spearheaded by Zaa Multimedia to mobilize financial support for the construction of a modern Gbewaa Palace, a project that has attracted contributions from traditional leaders, entertainers, organizations, and individuals across the country.
Speaking after the presentation, members of G. Unit reaffirmed their belief that the construction of the Gbewaa Palace is a shared responsibility and encouraged other entertainment groups, corporate institutions, and sons and daughters of Dagbon to contribute towards the initiative.
Zaa Multimedia management expressed appreciation to G. Unit for the generous support and commended the organization for leading by example. The management also appealed to the public to continue donating, emphasizing that every contribution, regardless of its value, will help bring the vision of a befitting Gbewaa Palace to life.
The fundraising campaign remains open to individuals, organizations, and well-wishers who wish to support the preservation and promotion of Dagbon’s rich cultural heritage.
