Adam Muftaw popularly known as Ibu Gh has been adjudged the Overall Most Popular Actor Of The Year at the 2nd edition of the annual Nodrafilm Movie Awards.
The awards ceremony held at the Tamale’s GNAT Hall yesterday January 28th, 2023 witnessed over 20 distinguished Film-Makers and some media people being honoured with plaques, citations, motorbikes, TV’s and a car for their immense hard work and contribution to the growth of the Northern Movie Industry.
The famous star bagged in the overall most popular actor of the year, making him the man of the night, and the winner of the ultimate price which is a car.
In a short interview with Is Hassan Dablee on HYPE TV after his victory, Ibu GH stated that he was so happy about his winning, and he hopes to take this to the next level.
“I am happy for this win, and I owes God the gratitude for this Big win. I also want to use this opportunity to encourage people who are having interest in becoming actors but have always been discouraged that there is no money in the industry. They should put it behind them and remember that, he is driving his first car today through acting” he said.
The Nodrafilm Movie Awards seeks to empower the next generation of film makers and to bring back the attention of the media on the Northern Movie Industry. The theme for this year’s awards was “Rebranding The Movie Industry And The Role Of The Media.
