The Legendary, Alhaji Ahmed Adam who was popularly known as Mr Razak has said that it funnies him when people plead with them to come back to doing active music in this era he described as unprofitable era in the aspect of the art business.
According to him, they keep receiving calls and approaches from all corners, pleading with them to come back into the industry strongly, but he stated that such calls are laughable because the procedures they were following to benefit from their talents are all dead leaving online strategies which are not well known by the consumers of their music and movies here.
“The only place we can make money through our music here is the shows, and with the shows, our people doesn’t support shows from all artists today. How many artiste in Tamale are benefiting from these shows? So it’s funny when people keep calling us back to do active music knowing very well that they won’t give us the support” he said.
Alhaji Ahmed Adam who outstandingly remains the highest selling artiste in the 5 regions of the north with a record of over 90,000 copies per album said this on an interview with Afa Staff on Neesim Fm 100.1Mhz on Tuesday, 27th of October, 2020.
