Just few hours after the flagbearer of the NDC, Mr John Dramani Mahama addressed the nation yesterday 10th December, 2020 and stated clearly that he is not accepting the results of a “flawed election”, hundreds of the youth in the Northern Region stormed the streets of Tamale and start burning tyres and shooting gunshots as demonstration against the verdict of the 2020 elections by the Electoral Commission.
An unconfirmed reports with the picture below states that 1 person has been reported dead and many had to run leaving their bikes behind when the military intervene to ensure that peace and order is maintained.
Meanwhile, the EC is yet to comment on the rejection statement made by John Dramani Mahama that,
“We will not accept anything short of a declaration of the legitimate results which points to an NDC Parliamentary majority. We will not accept a flewed election”.
