Baba Abdul Rahman, a Northern Ghanaian and Chelsea left-back, has donated 156 footballs and a huge sum of money to the Northern Regional Football Association (NRFA) and junior teams in the Sagnarigu metropolitan assembly.

To assist the continuing league, the following materials and cash were distributed and delivered to the recipients:
159 balls to Juveniles.
20 balls to the RFA.
10 football to the women league.
2 set of training jerseys and cones to each of the 53 blubs.
RAF receives 4000 cedis.
The RFA office received 1000 cedis.
The Sanarigu office receives 1000 cedis.
The Tamale metro office received 1000 cedis.
The RFA Chairman receives 500 cedis.
The chairman of the Sanarigu FA received 500 cedis.

Following the presentation, the chairman of the NRFA, Alhaji Alhassan Abu Hassan Rahzo, expressed his deep gratitude to the 26-year-old defender and urged the national team players from the Northern Region to follow Baba’s lead in order for the Ghana Football Association to make the region a center of attraction.

Baba Abdul Rahman advised the recipients to put the products to good use and young talents to be focused and committed to their studies.
