CEO of Bestmen Productions, BM Major of the North East Region has blamed the media and masses in Tamale for their unsupportive character towards artists from other regions, especially stars from the North East.
In an entertainment discussion on the ‘All Inclusive Show’ on Zaa Radio with Is Hassan Dablee, he said,
” When discussing artists who have shown unwavering support and loyalty to their peers, North East-based artists stand out above the rest.
We’ve seen the consistent use of North East artists in every major event, whether at the stadium or Bukum. Almost every A-list and B-list artist in Tamale has collaborated with them. Despite this, the favor is rarely returned.
It seems Tamale is unfair to artists from other regions, particularly the North East. Our artists have been utilized repeatedly, but when will Tamale grant them the honor of hosting successful concerts in Tamale? Walewale is a welcoming home where many artists have hosted great shows. Yet, our talented and hardworking artists struggle to do the same in Tamale. The last attempt, held at Radach, lacked support and ultimately failed”.
