Social Media, most especially comments from most Northern based music lovers have caused a severe tension over the recent released nominees of the 24th edition of the Ghana Music Awards.
The 24th edition of the scheme saw two Northern based tough music rivals, Fancy Gadam fails to make it to the over 30 list of Ghanaian artists nominated, whiles Maccasio grabbed again a nomination under the Reggae Dancehall Song Of The Year, a category he lost painfully three years ago.
As many keeps sharing their opinions and views on the outcome of the nominees, many believed Fancy Gadam has worked harder more than Maccasio under the year review, and should have gotten the nod over Maccasio.
Others also believed Maccasio has worked smartly and henceforth worth this nomination, especially with that record “Eyes On You” which featured Stonebwoy on his ‘Glory Album’.
Colleague industry players like Nash Iddi believes none of the the Northern based artists has worked really harder under the year review to have deserved a nomination.
