In an act of tremendous support and determination, Zakaria Nbahiyam, a proud cyclist based in Ashaiman, Accra, set off on an ambitious bicycle journey from Ashaiman to Tamale early this morning. His purpose? To support acclaimed chef Faila in her ongoing cooking marathon, where she aims to break the Guinness World Record by cooking non-stop for an astounding 240 hours.
The cooking marathon, which began on January 1, has already surpassed 159 hours, leaving many awe-inspired by Chef Faila’s determination and unwavering commitment. As news of her extraordinary feat spread, Zakaria Nbahiyam, an avid cyclist with a passion for supporting local talents, couldn’t help but be inspired.
Zakaria, known for his love of cycling and enthusiasm for promoting talents, felt compelled to contribute to Chef Faila’s Guinness World Record attempt. He recognized the significance of both physical and mental endurance required for such a feat, and he believed in the power of collective support to drive her towards success.
With his cycling experience and a strong belief in supporting heroes, Zakaria decided to embark on the long journey from Ashaiman to Tamale to show solidarity and encouragement for Chef Faila. Equipped with a well-maintained bicycle and essential supplies, Zakaria set off on the challenging adventure through the northern regions of Ghana. The route from Ashaiman to Tamale spans approximately 706 kilometers, encompassing diverse landscapes and presenting Zakaria with both physical and mental hurdles to overcome. He is expected to arrive in Tamale in 3 to 4 days time.
